The trio are among 257 Probationary Constables who attended a graduation ceremony at the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn in early December.
Probationary Constables Alex Millen, 23, and Gerard Lyons, 24, said they are impressed by their new digs at Griffith Police Station.
Meanwhile, fellow Probationary Constable Daniel Wallace has begun his placement at Narrandera.
Hailing from Sydney, Probationary Constable Millen said the hardest part of settling into his placement has been getting used to the dry heat.

According to Probationary Constable Millen his eight months of training at the academy was mostly characterised by “a lot of study to learn the law, towards the end they tell you how to defend yourself.”
“You kind of think about (policing) along the way and when it comes its a good feeling,” Probationary Constable Millen said.
“I have quite a few friends who became police officers, they always said it was a great career and its always good to be able to benefit the community as well.”
Probationary Constable Lyons is also from Sydney and said he wants to get “a good grounding in general duties and then think about further opportunities.”
“You get to do a large range of jobs in the police as compared to other emergency services, you get an opportunity to make a difference in a variety of situations,” Probationary Constable Lyons said.
As they walk their respective beats the Constables will be working and learning under the guidance of Senior Constable and Education Development Officer Sue Harris.
“They start four weeks with their detail with the field training officer, they will be given a basic grounding for the next 12 months on all things relating to general duty policing,” Senior Constable Harris said.
“They will have a look at custody, they will be training in other courses such as forensic procedures and DNA training so they can carry out basic procedures,” she said.
The three Probationary Constables will also study an associate degree in policing practice by distance education to be confirmed.
