They will be holding a high tea at the Old Miranda Winery from 1pm on Thursday to raise money for local families suffering from cancer.
“Christmas is going to be a sad time of year for a lot of families battling this illness,” said Griffith Can Assist president Olga Forner.
“We need to raise money so that we can be able to be there for them.”
The high tea will be $20 at the door and there will also be fundraising raffles on the day.
Ms Forner said the money would go a long way to help Can Assist stay afloat, and that it would ensure they could continue helping families in their time of need.
She is urging everybody is invited to come down for some fine food, a cuppa, and a chat for this pre-Christmas celebration.
