The Panthers bowling ranks will be bolstered by the return of Raj Singh and Brett Hazelman while Satvir Chahal will play his first top grade game for the 2018/19 season.
While captain Paul Plummer knows the inclusions will improve his side the issue his side has had hasn’t come from a lack of bowlers.
“We were a bit short on bowlers last weekend, but it was always going to be hard to defend 105,” he said.
“Our issues come down to the batters, and they need to put a bigger price on their wicket.
“People just haven’t been hitting their form, and by now you normally have one or two who are hitting the ball well.”
The batting woes for the Leagues side are well illustrated in their scorecard against Exies when Logan Matheson (53) and Fawad Shah (12) were the only batsmen to break into double digits.
It hasn’t been an easy start to the season for Coro who are still looking for their first win for the season after six rounds.
Despite that Plummer knows not to take them lightly.
“They will be pretty hungry to finally get off the mark,” he said.
“We have to be at our best, and the batters will need to put a high price on their wicket so we can set a defendable title.”
In their meeting back in round two, an Andrew Madden fifty and three wickets to Plummer helped lift Leagues to their first win of the season.
