Coffee and Cars Under the Stars was organised by expatriates auto club's Sharon Brown, who was inspired to create the event when she saw a similar one in Dubbo.
"There are so many car enthusiasts in Griffith, so I thought, why aren't we doing this?" Sharon said.
"I decided to do it a few months later and it went really well - everybody jumped on board."
Sharon formed the club with her husband about a year ago, and she said she never dreamed it would get as big as it did.
"I thought we'd have a few members come onboard, but we've grown to fifty people. It's been the biggest year I've had," she said.
Griffith’s newest car club has since boomed, and her coffee and cars event pulls in motorheads from all around the area, from Narrandera to Albury.
Last year's event had over 60 cars and 20 motorcycles, and Sharon anticipates tomorrow's event will be one of the biggest ones yet.
Vintage and custom vehicles will be on display, and Sharon will be bringing along her “babies”, an LX Torana and a HSV GTO Coupe.
On the day there will be food, market stalls, live band, giant raffle, barbecue, face painting, and general caffeine-fueled fun.
"It's just an all-round great family night out, and I hope everyone can come along," Sharon said.
“All the money goes to local kids and their families, who can sometime fall a bit under the radar.”
The event is open to the public and will start at 5pm.
