After November 15 HCF customers will need to trek to Wagga to receive personal service.
“We will continue to support members in the local area online via the new HCF website, the HCF My Membership app and via our Australian based customer service teams,” HCF’s branch network general manager Peter Schofield said.
He said the office had “played an important role in the community for more than 25 years.”
“We understand that some members may not feel comfortable using our online services, one option we are currently exploring is to install a HCF claims box in a local Griffith pharmacy, where members can drop off their claim forms so it can be sent to us for processing,” Mr Schofield said.
“Members can also post their paper claims free of charge by writing ‘Reply Paid’ in the top right hand corner of the envelope, we have provided all these details to our members in the Griffith catchment via email and post.”
