Registrations have commenced for all three age groups. There has been a change in sponsors for what used to be called Milo In2Cricket.
Woolworths have come on board as a major sponsor with the result that this level of cricket will be known as Woolies Junior Blaster.
This division is designed mainly for Kindergarten and Year One children and is aimed at teaching the basic skills of the game.
Registrations can be made online at playcricket.com or by picking up and returning a registration form at GB Sports or by attending a registration day to be held at Exies Sports Club on Sunday 21st October, 2018 from 10am to 12 noon.
An introductory session will be held at Exies Oval on Sunday 28th October from 9.45am to 10.30 am. Regular sessions will then be held at 9am to 10am each Saturday morning from 3rd November, 2018.
The next level will now be known as Woolies Master Blaster and is aimed at children in years two and three and younger if they have completed a year in Woolies (Milo) In2Cricket. Games are played on Saturday morning commencing at 9am and are usually finished by 10.30am.
All players get to bat and bowl for at least two overs. All games are played at the Exies Oval. Registrations can be made online, by obtaining a form from GB Sports or attending registration day on Sunday 21st October.
A general information and coaching day will be held at the Exies Oval on Sunday 28th October from 9.30am to 11am and all games commence at 9am on Saturday 3rd November.
Senior Binks/Tucker caters for children in years four and five and even year six if a player does not feel comfortable about going up to D Grade.
Games are played at Beelbangera, Jubilee, Wade High and Griffith High, commencing at 8.45am each Saturday.
Team numbers are restricted to 8 or 9 so that games can be finished within two hours.
Every player is guaranteed to face the same number of balls as every other player which is usually 17 balls if there are seven players in each side. The pitch length is reduced to 16 metres. All players get an equal chance to bowl.
Registration details are the same as for the two other divisions and a coaching and information day will be held at Exies Oval on Sunday 28th October, 2018 from 9.30am to 11am with games to commence on Saturday 3rd November.
