The first, a ram raid using a stolen vehicle, happened on Saturday night, and the second, a break and enter, on Sunday.
A silver Holden VT Commodore, with the registration YCB-823, was stolen from a mechanic in Griffith just after midnight on Saturday, police said.
CCTV footage then shows the thieves using the car to ram the front doors of the service station.
The footage depicts one man entering the smashed doors to try and steal cigarettes from the front counter, but he couldn’t open the case.
He left empty handed.
And yet again on Sunday, another Holden Commodore, this time a white Holden VN Commodore, parked outside the shop.
The recording shows two men, one wearing a black bandanna and hat and the other a hoodie, tried to get into the shop by kicking in the back door.
Failing to get through the back, the pair went to the front, with police saying they used a tool to hit and open the front window.
The owners allege they took a small amount of merchandise from the shelves.
Police say the two thieves were chased away by those living in the upstairs who came down to yell at them.
Inspector Nick Seddon was appalled at the two attempts at robbery, and say police were still attempting to locate the two cars involved.

“They really came away with nothing," Inspector Seddon said.
“We are looking at the footage, however if someone in the community knows anything that can help us locate the people and cars involved, please let us know.”
