It was a chance for people to get together with those they hadn’t seen in a while to ask are you OK?
With a plethora of businesses and community groups holding events, Yenda Public School and Peeches Coffee Lounge saw impressive turnouts.
R U OK Community Ambassador Karen Snaidero said the sixth breakfast conversation really resonated with the 180 attendees.
“I had so many people message me afterwards saying how much the conversation helped them,” Ms Snaidero said.
Principal at Yenda Public School Belinda Wallace said all areas of the community gathered together.
“Given the isolation our Yenda community, especially during drought and hardship, it was a chance in our busy schedule to check in to those we don't see, and bring awareness to prevent suicide,” Ms Wallace said.
“Thanks to all businesses and sponsors on the day for their time, effort and money.”
