Jamie Brennan appeared via video link on charges of break and enter, having stolen goods in custody and as well as various driving offences.
While defence solicitor Olivia Harris asked for parole with “strict bail conditions”, citing mental health reasons among other issues, the magistrate opted to deny bail.

Mr Brennan is yet to enter a plea.
The charges come after Greengecko director Joseph Taliano, whose business was the target of an alleged break and enter, warned local businesses about the importance of security.
“I just want other businesses to be aware that this is going on, and to take all precautions in securing their buildings,” Mr Taliano said.
“These thieves know what they are looking for… We are no longer the small town we used to be.”
Mr Brennan’s case is listed to appear before the court again on Wednesday, July 25.
