She’s aiming to put that passion into action at a new role with Griffith TAFE.
Leeton born-and-bred, Ms Coelli says she’s looking forward to connecting with residents.
“It’s a great opportunity to get out into the community. I like that side of the role,” she said.
Aged just 22, she’s already established herself within the community. Ms Coelli is a former Sunrice Festival Ambassador and a supporter, as well as regularly raising money for local charity Stepping out for Youth.

It’s about wanting to show off the opportunities available in regional Australia, she says.
“I want to be able to step back into the community and show we have opportunities available here,” she said.
“I’m someone who loves a challenge, loves taking on as much as possible. I’m passionate about personally, so when I’m engaging with the community it’s on a personal level.”
While university is the chosen path for many, Ms Coelli says it’s time society looked at alternative pathways to success.
“Have a look at the different pathways available. There are a lot of different opportunities that don’t come forward straight away,” she said.
“For some people, it’s about getting into the workplace and building on what you like and don’t like.”
She says stepping into the workplace helped equip her for the new role.
“At my previous job we held a strong role in connecting with the community. Moving into this role I really wanted to see the connection I could make on a greater level,” she said.
“I wanted to assist with the community assist with the opportunities we have locally.”
