Investigations are continuing after the tragic discovery of a young mother’s body in Kookora Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 27-year-old was discovered after officers from Murrumbidgee Police District were called to the property after reports detailing a concern for welfare.
She was found at the rear of the property in the shed.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries, and are treating her death as suspicious.
During investigations, police arrested a 35-year-old man in relation to a breach of domestic Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) allegation, five hours after the investigation commenced.
Police have said the nature of the relationship between the man and the deceased will form part of the investigation.
He was charged early Monday morning with three counts of the contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO, driving motor vehicle during disqualification period, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
His case was mentioned in Griffith Local Court on Monday afternoon, but the accused did not appear.
His case was listed to be heard before Wagga Wagga Local Court on Tuesday July 17.
While police have released no further information since early Monday morning, they hsave said the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death were still being investigated.
