Two Griffith men charged in relation to a drug raid near Darlington Point are set to be sentenced in court.

Anthony Mitchell, aged 59, and Jeremy John Goslett, aged 44, were arrested near Darlington Point in early January after officers allegedly discovered a large cannabis plot.
A subsequent search warrant executed at a home in Griffith allegedly and cannabis leaf and an unregistered shortened rifle.
The cannabis netted by police was said to have an estimated street worth of around $650,000.
Mr Goslett and Mr Mitchell have each pleaded guilty to one count of cultivating prohibited plants in a commercial quantity.
Police have alleged the two men were involved in the cultivation of more than 300 cannabis plants, which have subsequently been seized and destroyed.
Both men have been bail refused and will appear before Griffith District Court for sentencing on June 4.
In a video posted to social media at the time of the arrests, Murrumbidgee Police District Commander Detective Superintendent Michael Rowan commented on the importance of working with the community to combat these issues.
He also encouraged anyone with information to come forward and speak with police. Information about the drug crop is believed to have come from a member of the community. .
“I often talk about the assistance police around Griffith and the wider LAC get from members of the community. Today, we have the result of that,” he said.
“Anybody who has any information about the the supply or manufacture of prohibited drugs, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, please let us know.”
