Hay will come into this game knowing they are in for a tough test but have confidence after they came close to their first points in over a season after they fell to a two-point loss to the Griffith Black and Whites.
The Blueheelers won two of their first three games which all game away from home before they fell to Tullibigeal Lake Cargelligo in their first home game of the season before they had the bye in round four.
They returned to the playing field last weekend in fine form as they defeated West Wyalong 56-14 at Wade Park and will look to continue their run as they hit the Sturt Highway on Sunday morning.
The 2017 season has carried over into 2018 as the Magpies are still in search of their first win in over 18 months.
The tough season is evident when you look at the stats as the Magpies have conceded 312 points while only scoring 80.
The showpiece of the weekend’s games will be the league tag game at 12.40pm as the Blueheelers and Magpies are still undefeated after the first five games.
The first-grade game will get underway at the Hay Sportsground at around 3pm.
