Kalinda has been chosen as a stop over point for their five day Newcastle to Newcastle bash, and will be arriving at the school from 6.30am to 8.00am on Thursday May 24.
Kalinda School’s Principal Angela Sampson encourages everyone to come and support the event, and enjoy the cars with their students.
“We are counting down the sleeps!” Mrs Sampson said.
The money raised from this event will combine with $5400 already donated to the school to go towards purchases to establish their much-needed Sensory Room.
“More money will be raised on the day which will go towards hopefully finishing the room off. We are hoping to raise a total of $10,000,” Mrs Sampson said.
Bashers will arrive for a full hot and cold buffet breakfast, and the Griffith community are welcome to come.
The Variety Bash is an adventure with participants driving cars that are 30 years or older through regional parts of NSW, all in support of Variety – the Children’s Charity.
The 2018 Variety NSW Bash starts and ends in Newcastle over a week.
Breakfast tickets can be purchased for $5 school aged students, $15 for adults and under school age is free. Breakfast tickets can be purchased by contacting our school office on 69623271.
