The 19-man under 23s squad for the Country Championships was named on Wednesday.

It features all members of the team who scored a thumping 66-6 victory in the Kelly Cup at Equex Centre on Saturday.

Leeton front rower Rhys Wilesmith, who played for Riverina last season, and Waratahs hooker James Girdler are the only two Group 20 players selected.

Southcity are Kangaroos are the most represented clubs with four players from each club both picked.

Junee and Albury are the only Group Nine clubs who don’t have a player selected.

The Country Championships start on May 5 when Riverina travels to play Greater Southern Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium.

There is a training run at Equex Centre at 6.30pm on Thursday.

Meanwhile the Riverina leaguetag team will be much more balanced team when they tackle Greater Southern Tigers.

Eight members of the victorious Group 20 side have been selected alongside seven from Group Nine.

Yenda has four women selected while Brothers have three.
