John Sutherland and Jack Draskovic joined 12 other dedicated members of the Panthers family, and it is an honour which club secretary Chris Velis feels is well deserved.
“In the history of the Griffith Black and Whites have been around only 12 other people have been inducted, so these two join an elite few,” he said.
“These two guys have demonstrated over many years that they are committed club people from being presidents to cooking barbecues to running water. They have contributed to all facets of the club.”
“We thank John for travelling down to accept his award he lives in Murrumbateman at the moment.”
The night was also the club season launch for 2018 which saw the Black and Whites welcome their new players and their families to the club.
“We try to not only sign the player, but we try to make their whole family feel welcome,” he said.
