At about 12.50pm a 50-year-old woman was driving a maroon Hyundai near the Metro Service Station when the car collided with a silver-coloured Toyota.
Police and ambulance paramedics attended the crash.
The woman was conveyed to Griffith Base Hospital, but there were no serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Police are continuing investigations into the matter.
