Two men have been charged following a break and enter in Griffith earlier this week and another was charged after firearms were located in a vehicle.
It is alleged two men broke into a supermarket and stole a small amount of alcohol.
A member of the public reported seeing the two men believed to be involved entering a property on Clifton Boulevard around 5pm yesterday.
Police searched the property, allegedly seizing three firearms found in a vehicle at the premises.
Officers spoke with one man at the scene who was later arrested. Two other men were witnessed fleeing the property.
One man was detained a short distance away and arrested by police.
Another man was stopped by members of the public before being arrested and taken to Griffith Police Station.
A 23-year-old man was charged with posession of an unauthorised and unregistered firearm and failing to keep a firearm safe.
Another 23-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were charged with aggravated break and enter.
The three men were refused bail and will appear before Griffith Local Court later today.
