A man has been charged over a number of police pursuits following a police operation on a Griffith home yesterday.

Police attended the residence and a short foot chase began, leading to the arrest of a 20-year-old man.
He was charged with four counts of failing to stop for a police pursuit, two charges of driving a motor vehicle while on a disqualified licence
The pursuits allegedly occurred between December 2017 and February 2018.
He also stands accused of allegedly using a vehicle with an unauthorised number plate, unlawfully possessing number plates, using a vehicle with altered number plates and havng goods in his personal custody suspected of being stolen.
The man has been refused bail and will appear at Griffith Local Court on February 15.
Assault and Robbery
A man has been assaulted and robbed while walking along Kookora street.
He was approached from behind by three or four males at 10:30pm on Wednesday evening. The victim’s watch was taken from his pocket and he was then assaulted whilst lying on the ground.
The offenders then ran off in an unknown direction. They were described as being of solid build.
Emergency services were called after the victim attended a friend’s house nearby. He was conveyed to Griffith Base Hospital but escaped serious injury.

Car crash on private property:
A 15-year-old been cut from a car following a crash on a private property near Nerricon
Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash at a private property at 4:50pm on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the car had been driving on a road on a private road when she lost control of the car due to road conditions, crashing into a number of citrus trees and a water valve.
She was conveyed to Griffith Base Hospital and held overnight for observation.
Rock thrown through window:
A rock has been thrown through a car window on poole street between 4am and 9:20am on Monday. Police are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
Break and Enter:
A hungry trespasser has broken into a Leeton home.
Police were called to the unit in Lily Lane on Wednesday, where it was found a trespasser had entered through a window.
Nothing was taken from the home, but food and alcohol from the fridge had been consumed and property moved around.
