With the weather forecast predicting a downpour of rain on Friday and Saturday it looks unlikely there will be cricket played in the area over the weekend.

If games do get off the ground, it will be an encounter between two teams towards the top of the ladder which highlights the round when Coro take on Diggers at West End.
It has been a close competition so far this season which is a great thing according to Coro captain Haydn Pascoe.
“I think last time I check we were right up towards the top of the table,” he said.
“It has been a really close competition so far this year, and we have been going into games not really knowing what to expect in terms of results which is great.”
The side has been without quick bowler Mitchell Williams-Hedges since he hurt his ankle during the Murrumbidgee Big Bash in October but Pascoe said he was on the road to recovery.
“He has had his surgery and has the boot off and is getting around without crutches,” he said.

“I still don’t expect to see him back on the field until after the Christmas break.”
In the unlikely event, the game does go ahead on Saturday, Pascoe is hoping his bowlers can continue their form from last weekend.
“Our bowling has really improved in recent weeks,” he said.
“We kept taking wickets against Exies, but they were able to post a finishing total of around 180.”
Pascoe also knows the dangers Diggers poses in the shape of Theo Valeri who is currently sitting second in the runs scoring for the first-grade season behind Coro’s young gun Dean Bennett.
“Obviously picking him up early will be key,” he said. “They also have quite a few other good batsmen in Ben Watts and Tom Valeri.”
