THE see-saw battle for the Dom's Motors Griffith Golf Club Club Championship, between Matt Staines and Jason Magoci continues, following the third round last Saturday.

Staines now holds a three shot lead over Magoci, 225 to 228, going into the final round on Saturday.
In A Reserve, Luke De Valentin, 242, holds a handy 10-shot lead over David Kidd and looks a likely winner.
It is close in B Grade, David Whitfield, 262, holds a two-shot lead over Charlie Guglielmino, 264. C Grade will go down to the wire with Jack Draskovic, 291, holding a one shot lead over Ray Greig, 292, Geoff Oslington and Chris Green, 294.
Magoci, 216, leads A Grade Handicap from Col Vearing, 255. De Valentin, 215, leads A Reserve from Kidd and Keiron Edwards, 219. Whitfield, 214, leads B Grade, Guglielminoo, 219, Steve Crowe, 221. Chirs Green, 219, leads C Grade from Ray Greig, 223. The final round of all grades is on Saturday, again a seeded draw.
A single stroke on Saturday with 77 players. Allan Andreazza, 68 nett, won A Grade, nailing birdies on the 3rd and 5th ahead of Keiron Edwards, 71 nett.
David Whitfield, 68 nett, won B Grade, draining a birdie on the 9th, Ngarau Noa second, 71 nett, on a countback over Graeme Trevett.
Ray Greig, 70 nett, won C Grade ahead of Alan Le Broque, 72, on a countback over Alan Teal, 72.
Pro Pins to Travis Payne and Mitch Howard. Par Threes: 4th Col Leeson, 7th Allan Andreazza, 11th Don Catanzariti, and 16th Coll Leeson. Vouchers to 75 nett.
A single stableford on Sunday with players in two grades. Jason Magoci fired one under par 70 to take out 0-18 Grade with 40 ahead of Steve Matheson, 39. Greg Smith, 39, won 19-36 Grade over Luke Santolin, 36. Brad Hammond won the 11th pin, Jeff Wiscombe 7th. Jason Magoci Eagled the ninth and vouchers went to 34.
The club is holding a family fun day on Friday, December 1. A Six Hole Par 3 Three Person Ambrose, 5.30pm registration and 6pm tee off, Entry $20, kids under 18 free, includes barbecue and presentation after golf and raffles.
A reminder of the last chance Holden Scramble on December 3 for men and mixed. A Charity Golf Cay for Riding for Disabled is on Friday, November 24 – a Four Person Ambrose. Entry includes 9am breakfast, all day barbecue and 10am shotgun start.
Only a small number played but those who did had a great time in the Sacred Heart Parish golf day last Sunday.
Todays and Sunday’s events are single stablefords, Saturday a single stroke.
The veterans played a two grade single stableford last Thursday. Sibraa, 36, won 0-18 Grade from Gerry Cox, 34. John Brennickk, 38, won 19-36 Grade, Ron Smith, 36, second. Mike Heddditch won the 11th pin, Garnett Reade 16th. Vouchers to 29. Another single stableford this week.
A one grade single stableford last Wednesday, won by Don Catanzarriti, 38, on CB over Matt Hallam 38. Jason Magoci eagled the 5th. Vouchers to 35.
