Wednesday, November 15 was “closing day for Winter Comp" – a stableford event for Black Pepper vouchers then afternoon tea and Black Pepper fashion parade showing off their beautiful spring and summer clothing line. Thanks to models, Shirley, Kaye, Julie and Kathy.
There were 27 ladies playing in three divisions.
Div 1: Sue Peters on C/B from Denise Turner on 36. Div 2: Mary Gifford, 36, from Val Browne, 35. Div 3: Robyn Hoare on C/B from Robyn Barrington 33 points.
NTP: Dale Spence in div 2. Ball Comp: eight ladies won a ball with a score of 31 points or better required,
Saturday, November 18 was the beginning of summer comp with 15 ladies playing a stableford in two divisions.
Div 1: Liz Graham 32 points on C/B from Kathy King. Div 2: Cherie Eade 35 points from Marie Centofanti 32 points. Five ladies won a ball with a score of 28 or better.
Summer comp continues on Wednesday and Saturdays. Captains for Summer Comp are Liz Graham and Kathy King, with other helpers when necessary.
Thursday, November 16 the ladies presentation night was held at the North Side Leagues Club.
This was a fun time with skits, reminders of funny events that happened during the year, beautiful Chinese buffet food followed by a scrumptious array of sweets provided by some of our ladies.
A great evening of fun and laughter.
