More incidents believed to be related to Strike Force Carolan have been released by Griffith Local Area Command.
They stole a large amount of jewellery and cash from the house as well as ransacking rooms, gaining access by breaking in through the front door.
They are also believed to be responsible for a trespass at a farm located McCarthy Road in Lake Wyangan between 4pm on Friday and midday on Saturday. Police allege a vehicle was driven through a fence at the front of the property, damaging around 30 meters of fencing and five gates.
In other news, thieves have stolen almost $5000 worth of equipment from a premises in Hanwood in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Entry was gained through the rear door, before a variety of tools including battery drills, drill bits, transmitters and more were stolen.
There was also a crash last week at around 9pm on Friday resulting in injury.
The provisional driver approached the intersection of Sanders Street and subsequently mounted the median strip. the vehicle hit and uprooted a telegraph pole. which landed across the road blocking traffic.
The collision set the airbags off, with the driver sustaining minor injuring to the forehead, and the passenger receiving a small laceration to the ear.
The driver was conveyed to the hospital for breath and urine testing.
