
STABBING: A 16-year-old boy will face children's on Wednesday after being charged with stabbing a 17-year-old on Tuesday afternoon.
A 16-year-old boy will face court this morning after being charged with stabbing a teenager in Griffith Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest at a home in Ulong Street about 3.40pm.
The boy was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Griffith hospital where his injuries were deemed to be non life threatening. He was later released.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested by Griffith police at 4pm and charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear in court on October 11.
