IT WAS a big two days of golf at the Griffith Golf Club last weekend. Saturday the Dee Vine monthly medal, and Sunday the GS & BD Electrics Open Tournament, and, over the two days, a regional qualifier for the NSW Open.

There were 63 players playing in the Griffith Open Tournament. Stefan Tuionetea won the title, shooting one over par 72 after a playoff over Josh Gado also shooting one over par 72.
Col Veering, 66 nett, won A Grade Handicap, Peter Gill second, 73 nett on a countback.
Matt Hallam, 84, won B Grade Scratch, Jeff Wiscombe 85 runner-up Brendon Peters 73 net won B Grade Handicap on a countback over David Whitfield, 73.
Allan King, 91, won C Grade Scratch, Rod McNabb, 96 runner-up. Kevin Dodds, 71 nett, won C Grade, Jack Draskovic, 74, second.

Josh Gado from Concord Golf Club,144, won the NSW Qualifier. Senior winner Ian Smith, 171. Nett winner Col Vearing,142.
There was a solid field of 88 players in Saturday’s single stroke for the Dee Vine Monthly Medals. Matt Staines fired one under par 70 to win A Grade with 71 on a countback over Andrew Noad, 71, 77 scratch.
Brian Grandi, 68, won B Grade, Lance Perry, 70, runner-up.
Jorge Woods, 71, won C Grade ahead of Steve Marland, 72.

The events today and Sunday are both single stablefords. Saturday a Two Person Ambrose. The NSW Sandgreen Championships will be played at Holbrook this weekend.
