- Cecilia Bellicanta
Three current representative players, Cecilia Bellicanta, Tegan Aloisi and Ellie Taipaleti, have urged anyone with an interest in trying out to give it a go.
“It will help you with your skills, and you will make lots of new friends, and it's really fun,” Cecilia said.
Tegan said there are social benefits to taking part as well.
“Even if you just try out you will enjoy the tryouts, and you will meet a few new people,” she said.
“It's (State carnivals) crazy you meet a lot of new people from other teams too, and it's really fun and hard.”
Ellie said the best thing about playing representative netball is taking part in the stage aged carnivals.
“It's really worth it. You meet new people, and you can develop skills,” she said.
“It is intense, but it is a good thing go to.”
Trials for the sides will be held throughout the day on Sunday, September 17.
