A group of about 30 riders travelled around the district raised $2072 for their friend Bulldog.
Bulldog is Darren Neyenhuis and he is currently in hospital in Sydney, where he has been for about five weeks, as he fights an infection in his foot.
Mark Osborne, one of the event organisers, said everyone involved had enjoyed a great day and had welcomed the chance to help Mr Neyenhuis, a father of three from Ardlethan
Mr Neyenhuis is a plant operator, but the infection and hospitalisation has meant he has been unable to work.
With this in mind, Mr Neyenhuis’s motorcycling mates got together to organise the fund-raising ride to help his family, and their generosity left him “100 per cent lost for words”.
Riders started in Ardlethan and travelled through Rankin Springs, Weethalle, West Wyalong and Mirrool. The last stop was the Beckom Hotel for a barbecue.
