TWO boys remain behind bars after causing havoc in Whitton on Friday night.
The youths, aged 17 and 16, had their bail refused to appear in court on Wednesday.
Police said the pair were outside a licensed premises in Whitton, demanding patrons buy them alcohol.
They were asked to leave by a staff member and patron, who were then verbally abused by the two.
After leaving, they returned carrying metal poles.
The 17-year-old allegedly struck a 53-year-old woman on the forearm, causing it to bleed.
Another person was hit and the two offenders were wrestled to the ground.
Police were called and the pair were arrested and taken to the Leeton Police Station.
The 17-year-old was charged with intimidation, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and having an offensive implement in a public place.
The 16-year-old was charged with intimidation and having an offensive implement in a public place.
