Griffith City Library are holding all kinds of events, with Friday being story time, followed by playing in Lego rooms, and a cut and paste project.
The Library’s Michael “Library Mike” Lee is hoping more kids will come and have fun next week as well.
“The theme was for NAIDOC week, and we’ve done a few aboriginal soties, one of which was the legend of how the kangaroo got their tail” he said.
“For craft younger children are sticking shapes of aboriginal line art, and the older kids are colouring in blank ones and cutting them out using their dexterity to cut and stick to create a collage, which we’ll put on the wall.”
It’s not just primary school activities at the library, with live seminars being held every day for studious high school HSC students.
Seminars for Advanced English, Economics, General Mathematics and Business studies are held from July 3 till July 13.
Griffith Central is also special holding school holiday events, with their “Stay and Play” area open all holidays, where children can dress up, colour and play while parents can shop.
