Flips, fire-eating and daring leaps were all on show outside the Griffith Regional Theatre on Tuesday as the travelling Circus Oz gave a sneak preview of its latest show.
The troupe are set to perform their latest show Model Citizens at the theatre on Wednesday night following what was an explosive free street performance.
Previous reviews of this latest creation and new acrobatic ensemble have praised its physical improbability.
“Circus Oz has always been at the cutting edge of exciting, boundary pushing contemporary circus,” Griffith Regional Theatre Manager Raina Savage said.
“Their heart stopping aerial and acrobatic stunts, outrageous humour and tongue in cheek satire weave a magical spell that will have audiences of all ages entranced.”
Ms Savage said the spectacle was one of the theatre’s signature shows for 2017, encouraging the city to attend. “Circus Oz is raw, beautiful, unpretentious Australian entertainment,” she said.
“The audience will be taken on a visually and emotionally charged journey by this outrageously talented troupe.”
Circus Oz will perform at the Griffith Regional Theatre on Wednesday, May 31. Tickets can be purchased online or from the box office.
