Coming off the break, Yanco Wamoon will be heading into Griffith Black and Whites refreshed.
In their game against Yenda, the Hawks played out the first draw of the season as the sides couldn’t be separated with the score at 16-16.
The Black and Whites, on the other hand, are coming into the game off the back of a win against the Blueheelers after they were able to make the most of a tiring side late in the game to come away 36-20 winners.
The Griffith side can take first place if they can get the win while a win for the Hawks could move them into second and leapfrog the Panthers.
The only game to two sides played against each other last season Yanco came out on top 32-22 at EW Moore Oval.
The sides will return to play under the lights at EW Moore Oval on Saturday with the action getting under way with the Under 18s at 2.15pm before the firsts come out at around 6.15pm.
