But despite entering the second half with the scoreboard an uncertain nil-all the team walked away solid victors – defeating their opponents 4-0 when the final siren sounded.
“We were pretty happy with that result,” coach Brian Bertolin said following the match.
The one thing we spoke about was that we didn’t want to drive home with a loss and we did well and we are really happy with it.

“We were playing really well in the first half it just wasn’t going in but we knew we just had to stay patient and keep up the pressure and the goals would come.
Bertolin said while players Daniel Andreazza, Dem Torino and Daniel Drasckovic had all stood out on the field it was only fair to say it had been an enormous achievement from the team as a whole deserving of recognition.
“We left at 5.30 this morning and it was a massive effort from all of them,” he said.
“The one thing we spoke about was that we didn’t want to drive home with a loss and we did well and we are really happy with it.”
