The 43rd annual run held by Griffith's Feral Joggers since 1975, the dash continued to attract crowds of all ages with participants ranging from the young all the way to 84-year-old Domenic Calabria.
A veteran of the Bacchus having run ‘a dozen or so’ in the past Mr Calabria again wowed the crowd with his efforts in the five kilometre race, finishing with ease.
“I always enjoy a run and this was no different,” he said after wrapping up his run.
In a staggering effort for the third year in a row it was Aleara Wallace who took out the number one spot in the women’s 10 kilometre endurance run while Griffith’s Aidan Fattore also impressed the crowd blitzing the competition in the men’s section.
Miles ahead of his competition a young Billy De Bruyn was first to cross the finish line in the five kilometre run after gaining and maintaining a significant lead early on.
