The win didn’t come easily, though, with Coly batting first and setting Coro a target of 147 to win.
It was a truly all-round effort from the Nomads with Ryan Mannes (18), Bryce Rogers (13), Tom Bowditch (14), Chris Hayes (28) and Thomas Fattore (14) all making starts.
Claire Murray (3/12) was the pick of the Coro bowlers with Blake Argus (2/18) and Stephen Witherspoon (2/23) also amongst the wickets.
In the second innings, Cooper Smith (2/26) struck with the score on zero before Chase Verri (16) and Dean Bennett (62) combined.
Both batsmen eventually fell before Argus (18*) and Witherspoon (15) handed Coro the win.
In the elimination final, Hanwood kept its season alive against Leagues.
A 61-run opening stand from Ryan McWhirter (34) and Harry Rowston (17) set Hanwood up to make a big total.
Despite wickets to Reece Matheson (2/30) and Ryan Greenaway (2/20), Ben Rowston (16), Zach Pasin (17), Michael Agnew (21) and Tom Bartter (18*) ensured the runs wouldn’t be easy to chase.
With 172 runs needed for victory, Leagues Club slumped to 3/41 early in the chase.
However, the Greenaways – Tom (19) and Ryan (63) – put on a 90-run stand together.
Tom was eventually run out by Sam Robinson and Ryan followed shortly after when he was out to Harry Rowston (3/15).
The total proved too big as Leagues Club finished 20 runs short of Hanwood’s score at 8/151.
