
WEDNESDAY’S stableford competition attracted a field of 16 ladies across two divisions.
The winner of Division 1 was Kathy King carding 33 points. Runner-up was Eleanor Hancock with a score of 32 points.
The winner of Division 2 was Muriel Shaw with 30 points on a countback from runner up, Dulcie Knight.
There were five ball winners with a score of 24 points required.

SATURDAY’S sweltering heat kept all but the hardiest of players away.
Only two ladies braved the conditions for a stableford round.
The winner was Dorian Radue and runner-up was Eleanor Hancock.

NEXT Saturday’s competition is a stableford event with a secret nine.
A reminder for all ladies to ensure that they record any gobbles as part of the summer competition.
Opening day for the winter competition is only a few weeks away.
Wednesday, March 1 will be the opening stableford round and the Yvonne Couper and Mary Gifford Trophy.
Ladies are asked to bring a plate to share.
