Police have arrested a 24-year-old woman after she was found with cannabis during a random breath test.
Police stopped the woman’s car at 2.50am on Tuesday morning at Burley Street for the breath test, which returned a negative result.
However, a decision was then made to search the car, woman and her passenger.
While police were searching the female driver they found a small amount of what they believed to be cannabis on her person.
The woman was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and will attend Griffith Local Court in February.
