On Thursday 99.7 Star FM become Hit 99.7 and 2RG become Triple M 963 AM.
The change follows the re-branding by broadcaster Southern Cross Austereo (SCA), which has seen a number of regional stations change their iconic names to Hit or Triple M.
Joining the Hit Network, means Hit 99.7 will become part of the largest radio network in Australia along with 43 Hit stations across all corners of the nation.
963 AM Triple M joins the sound waves of the second largest radio network in Australia, joining 34 Triple M stations across Australia.
The stations assure the name change will not deter from the content and quality listeners across the Riverina have come to know and love.
Presenters Mick Narrier, Mandy Page, Claire Humphery and Dane McGuirk will continue on Griffith’s airways.
Being affiliated with Hit and Triple M brands will give listeners access to more competitions, prizes and music.
