The auxiliary raised $7396.50 through the selling of raffle tickets and other donations made through the business house in the community.
General Manager of Griffith Base Hospital, Elizabeth Harford wanted to thank those who gave money for the cause.
“The community has again shown their generous side.”
“I would also like to thank the Auxiliary who have continued to sow great loyalty and support for the hospital.”
The slave machine purchased with assistance from the donated funds will help doctors in the theatre to manoeuvre telescopes during keyhole surgery. The monitor is expected to arrive after the New Year.
