Father Grace said the day was a huge success with new rides, face painting, pony rides and all the fete favourites enjoyed by more than 500 people.
“It was a fantastic family day, many of the people that came said it was one of the best fetes they ever went to,” Father Grace said.
A team of volunteers helped make the day a success and Father Grace said it was great to see all the hard work pay off, especially to see the smile on children's faces.
“I have so much gratitude towards the community for supporting the fete and for all our volunteers that put hours into organising everything, it was all worth it when we saw how happy everyone was and the smiles it brought to the children's faces,” Father Grace added.
Money raised from the fete will go towards St Patrick’s Primary School to help provide better facilities and learning opportunities for the students.
