“About 20 runs,” Catanzariti said.
“If we got 20 more runs both games, it could have been a different story.
“It was really tough out at Hanwood last week and Exies only got the runs with five overs left.”
Hanwood will be searching for its first win on Saturday when the side takes on Coro at Exies No. 1.
Having played at Exies No. 1 in round one – on that occasion 363 runs were scored – Catanzariti has a fair idea how the pitch will play and expects a high-scoring match once again.
“It’s a good batting pitch, it’s pretty flat and the outfield’s quick,” he said.
The Hanwood captain wanted a bit more consistency with his side this season but that hasn’t been the case so far.
That will continue this week with one key change set to happen.
“The side will be very similar to last week but we’ll have [Jason] Bertacco out this week,” Catanzariti said.
“Our new guy, Brad [Clark], he’ll be back in.”
The Cougars will be out to secure their second win after a dominant display against Yenda last week.
The match starts at 1pm.
