The state titles for the 15 boys will be using Ted Scobie Sports Oval as the official venue for the duration of the championship that will take place from Monday, September 26 and conclude on Friday, September 30.
10 teams from all parts of NSW – including local side Country Riverina and seven metropolitan teams – will test their footballing ability across the massive five-day event.
Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore advised the level of football will be at a premium but also praised the host venues with parents and players alike set to enjoy some wonderful parts of NSW.
“These Football NSW State Titles are conducted annually and are an essential part of the recognised talented player pathway for state team selections.
“A number of Australia’s past and present star players have been unearthed at these state titles and 2016, like 2015, will be no different as the talent pool in NSW continues to deliver more for our national teams.
“Apart from football, it’s also an ideal chance for players and parents to see other parts of NSW in its beauty.
“I know all participants will enjoy the hospitable nature of all hosting venues”
