This week’s match-up between Griffith City and Yoogali FC in the Griffith District Football Association first grade competition is one between the two bottom teams.
Don’t tell that to Griffith City who have doubled their previous point total in the past two rounds with a victory over Leeton and a draw with West Griffith.
YFC are still struggling to breath life into their season as they are still in search for their first win of the year.
The last time these teams faced off it was City who came away the victors in a tight affair. The key to YFC finding their first win may just lye in finishing the game with 11 men on the park.
So far this year, four YFC players have been shown a red card, good for half their games played and most in the league.
Second most red cards this year?
Griffith City, with three.
The match will be played on Saturday at Exies Oval and start at 7pm.
