Health and water are mayor’s priorities
Griffith Base Hospital is overdue for an upgrade as it’s the base for outlying areas and does so many medical procedures for all patients, public or private. Some parts are so run down and have not had any upgrades for decades. I was quite upset that I heard Susan Ley the Health Minister was in town for three days and didn't ask to tour through the public hospital. I wonder why? When you are in a safe political seat you can be sure that no politician will give you anything.

Well, who says that ours has to be a 'safe' seat? We have the opportunity to make a real change in our own electorate. We need to stop being complacent and research the independents who are throwing their hat into the ring to make a difference in our local area.

We need better care for people with disabilities at the hospital. Where are you gonna find more nursing? Because we don't have enough nurses in this town.
