Auctioneer Matt Moon said he had been contacted by Tony Day from the Canberra Raiders after he heard of the fundraising efforts of Griffith residents..
“All of the proceeds from this auction will go to Robin’s family, it’s a legitimate player’s jersey worn by Edrick Lee during a game and they’ve gotten all the boys to sign it,” he said.
Mr Moon advised Griffith residents to be quick to make an offer for the jumper saying he had already received a $500 bid from a man in Burleigh Heads.
Bidding will close at 8.30am on Saturday morning, those interested can make an offer through the Base Fitness Facebook page or by contacting Mr Moon on 0413 621 503.
