All finished in the top three, with Aiden claiming first, and fastest, again with his time of 23:59. He is only six seconds off the all-time record for this course set by Peter Pearson in 2011.
Adam was just in front of Rodney for second place.
Pete Stockwell (fourth) and John Keenan (fifth) fought their own battle to get in the top five.
Richard West (sixth) is making himself quite at home in the top ten.
Teresa Burgess (seventh) zipped in just ahead of newcomer Jordan Robins who made a good first impression in eighth place. Stewart Wood snuck home next, ahead of the ever agile Paul Muir.
Julie Duncan (16th) is making a habit of being the fastest female Feral on the course, with a of 29.55.
In the short course, James Dal Broi’s second appearance in this competition resulted in first place, knocking off two minutes off his previous time.
Isabella Salmon (second) is stubbornly keeping the lead in the pointscore and like Julie, maintaining her status as fastest female on the tracks with a time of 14.42.
In third place, new mum Fiona Fattore is steadily making a comeback, as Lara Murray just edged out Christian Callcut for fourth place.
Adrian Baird (sixth) is second in the pointscore but needs to start climbing up in places if he wants to catch Isabella.
Brand new Ferals Jenna Valenti and Tiffany Foscarini finished in seventh and eighth places respectively, still blissfully unaware of how hot the Hotfoot will get.
Gavin Callcut (ninth) is finding this course more to his liking based on his improved times from the previous competition.
Rounding out the top 10 was the untouchable Malachi Smith with the males’ quickest time of 13.55.
