Despite missing out on the Colston-Scammell Shield, Jack Cattanach (Hay), Hugh Collins (Leeton), Rupert Lilburne (Hay), and Reece Matheson (Griffith) were chosen in the side.
The side was chosen following the Colston-Scammell Shield round robin carnival.
Murrumbidgee played three matches from November 15-23.
First up they took on Southern Riverina and endured a 38 run loss.
Ryan Greenaway (5-25) starred with the ball while Jack Rowston (45) was the only batsmen able to make a dent in Southern’s field.
Murrumbidgee gained some momentum in the second match when they beat the CAW Country side by 90 runs.
Murrumbidgee batted first and piled on the runs.
Led by Collins (91) and Matheson (50*), the side posted a total of 9-241 after their 50 overs.
Collins showed his bowling was just as handy as his batting with 3-16.
Murrumbidgee picked up right where they left off in their final match against Northern Riverina.
Collins (56) and Matheson (33) were once again on fire with the bat while Lilburne (3-20) was the star with ball in hand.
