That’s what kids around Griffith were saying Tuesday as they completed their first HSC exam of the year, English (standard) and English (advanced).
Two such students were Wade High’s Claudia Schmetzer and Nathan Snaidero who now look forward to a bit of time off before they tackle their PDHPE exam on Friday.
“It feels good to be one down,” Nathan said.
“I'm glad I don't have to study the intrinsic nature of Hamlet ever again.”
Claudia said there was nothing out of the ordinary in the exam and was cautiously-confident with how she went.
“It was to be expected,” she said.
“We've been studying a lot, we learnt it all in class so really we just had to re-do it today.
“Now I'm taking a small break before I get back into PE.”
Nathan said it would be a nervy wait for the results.
“It's too hard to tell at the moment how well we did,” he said.
“We'll just have to wait until December 16 I suppose.”
