For Allison McCormack and Danielle Webb the answer is about 800km.
The pair travelled from Cunnamulla in Queensland to see Reece Mastin perform to a packed-out Griffith Regional Theatre on Thursday night.
Fifteen-year-old Allison said the eight-hour road trip was worth every minute to see her musical idol.
“Griffith was the closest place that he was performing for us,” she said. “I had to talk my nan into it first and then she helped me convince mum that it would be good to come.
“I just love him, everything about him. I don’t have one favourite song because I like them all.
“He was amazing. I’m so glad we came.”
Allison’s grandmother Patricia Athorn said her granddaughter was definitely a massive fan.
“We travelled down at 7am on Wednesday and we had a look around on Friday and headed home on Saturday,” she said.
“Every night we go to bed with Reece Mastin in our heads when she is staying at my place. When we are travelling it’s all we hear.
“We don’t get many good acts come to Cunnamulla and this was a chance to come somewhere different.”
Allison and Danielle said a highlight was getting to meet the teenage heartthrob before he went on stage.
