Dissegna Premium Family Produce's oil claimed a gold medal at the Royal Canberra Extra Virgin Olive Oil Show in September.
Owner and grower David Dissegna said it was satisfying to have the oil they produce recognised.
"We topped our class at the Canberra Royal and were awarded the best new exhibitor too," Mr Dissegna said.
"It's good for our region. It proves our region can produce high quality olive oil. These are the best results we've had to date. To get top of our class isn't easy.
"Considering we've only been doing this since 2008, it is good to come away with a gold medal."
At the Royal Canberra Extra Virgin Olive Oil Show the Dissegna Extra Virgin Olive Oil won both gold and a silver medal.
In addition to that, at the Sydney Royal Agricultural Fine Food show they received a bronze for each of their varieties, Frantoio, Manzanella and Correggiola in the olive oil competition.
Meanwhile they received silver for the peach jam and a bronze for quince jelly.
The Dissegna grove, located not far from Coleambally, is a real family affair, with David's parents, Diana and Dino, and brother, Michael, and sister, Monica all playing a part.
Mr Dissegna described the award-winning olive oil as having a fruity olive flavour with a mild amount of pepper and no after taste.
"Coleambally is the ideal climate for growing. It mimics the Mediterranean climate," he said.
"It feels so good to be able to put that gold medal sticker on.
"There is a real sense of satisfaction knowing we are up there with some of the best. Mum has been doing her jam for a while so she was pretty thrilled to get a good result with it too."
