Exies were the team to beat for most of the season but lost three games in a row to take out the minor premiership with a convincing win over Hanwood last weekend.
Coro managed to close the gap on Exies in the last few rounds of the season and were in the position to take the minor premiership before they fell to Leagues in the final round.
When the side’s meet on the weekend they will be fighting to be the first team into the first-grade grand final and looking back on the meeting between the two sides it is pointing to a close game.
Exies have taken two of the four games with Coro taking the most recent clash between the two side’s in round 18.
Meanwhile in the other semi-final Leagues will face off against Diggers in the fight to stay alive.
Leagues as the defending premiers have struggled to find consistency so far this season but will go into this weekend with some confidence behind them after picking up the one-day title last weekend.
The key to the game will be the performance of Trevor Richards who has been in stellar form for Diggers towards the end of the season. Leagues will need to get him out which will be made more difficult with it looking like they might be without opening bowler Satvir Chahal who was hit in the head while batting in the one-day final.
Diggers have the upper hand heading into the clash picking up four wins from four games against Leagues this season.
